Thomas Yee joined Watanabe Ing in 2012 as part of the creditors’ rights and business law group. Prior to joining the firm, he spent over ten years in private practice, working in a wide variety of disciplines within the field of commercial litigation.

Mr. Yee currently represents a number of major Hawai‘i banks and credit unions, his practice covering a number of areas, from bankruptcy, collections and foreclosure, to residential and commercial loan documentation, to financial institution regulatory compliance. He is also a strong proponent of client education and has worked with numerous clients to keep them appraised of developments in bankruptcy and financial regulatory law, as well as to help develop policies and best practices for compliance with the increasingly complex and onerous body of regulations facing financial institutions today.

Mr. Yee is a past president of the Hawai‘i Bankruptcy Bar Association and currently serves as a board member.
